Reisner, ThePlace of Agricultural Education in Middle and Lower Schools,p. 2,RG11,B223,F3770.）1920年岭南学堂校长晏文士（C.K.Edmunds）在一篇为岭南农科地位辩护的文章中表达了和芮思娄相同的思想，他认为教会大学“通过培养农业领导人不仅仅是为改善农村经济，而且还能把基督教信仰的种子播进农民的心田，以此实现中华归主”（注：C.
