[摘 要]作为一个特殊的社会群体，民初旗民在社会政治经济生活的诸多方面发生了深刻的变化。基于政治经济特权的丧失、社会地位和生活方式的变化以及平等的民族关系基本原则的确立等多种因素的影响，自民国成立后的多年间，各地屡有旗民申请冠姓、更名、改籍。对民初旗民冠姓、更名、改籍历史现象的考察，不仅有助于我们深刻了解转型时期旗民的生存状况，而且也有益于人们在社会发展和民族融合的视角下进一步认识和研究民初中国社会、政治、经济、思想文化、风俗习惯等诸多领域。

　　Abstract：As a special social group，bannermen underwent profound changes in many aspects in their social，political and economic life in the early Republic of China，after the foundation of which，bannermen lost their political and economical privilege，their social position and the life style changed and the basic principle of ethnical equality was established.Such dramatic changes led to many bannermen’s application to add a Chinese-style name to their original name，to change their given names，and to change birth places.The studies in the above historical phenomenon are not only helpful in our understanding of bannermen’s survival conditions in the early Republic，but also beneficial to the further understanding of and studies on the Chinese society，politics，economy，thoughts，culture，manners and customs and so on from the perspective of social development and ethnic fusion.

　　作为一个特殊的社会群体，民初旗民在社会政治经济生活的诸多方面发生了深刻的变化。自民国成立后的多年间，各地屡有旗民申请冠姓、更名、改籍。旗民冠姓、更名、改籍从特定的角度折射出民初旗民社会生活的多个层面。本文拟从相关档案史料出发，对民初旗民冠姓、更名、改籍的历史现象进行考察，以期对民初旗民的生计生存状况作一管窥。

　　(一)平等的民族关系基本原则的确立
　　中华民国成立以后，“五族共和”思想被确立为民国政府处理民族关系的基本原则。1912年元旦，孙中山先生在《中华民国临时大总统宣言书》中明确宣布：
