[摘 要]日本著名学者梅棹忠夫提出的“文明的生态史观”影响巨大，为认识和研究人类文明的演进，特别是现代化的进程，提供了一个新的视角。但是，从历史学的角度加以检证，“文明的生态史观”存在许多漏洞，作为现代化的一种模式不能成立，作为一种代表性的日本文化论也具有过分拔高日本文化的倾向，这是我们所不能苟同的。

Abstract: The influence of "the historical view of civilization from the view of ecology", raised by the well-known Japanese scholar Umesao Tadao, was massive. It provides a new angle for cognition and research of the evolution of human civiliza- tion, especially for modernization. However, inspecting from the aspect of history, such a view has many flaws. As a mode of modernization, it is not convincing; as a representational Japanese cultural theory, it tends to over-glorify the Japanese culture,which is hard for us to agree to.
