Abstract:In recent years， we did not get any affirmation to the job of the folk customs, on the contrary, we often heard the criticism. In my opinion, the folk custom has made great contribution to the development of Chinese folk custom discipline since its construction has been restored. Their contribution is various, concretely speaking, it mainly lies in the construction of ethnology research troops, the collection and the reorganization of the folk custom culture, the folk custom research, and the establishment and research development of folk custom organization and so on. For both a researcher and a subject, people’s criticism is welcome to be accepted. But, we need the reasonable and realistic criticism.
