On “The System of Imperial Examination related

to Census Register”of the Song Dynasty

Abstract: “The System of Imperial Examination related to Census Register” is an undis tinguished anxiliary system in the imperial examination of the Song dynasty.The imperial examination of the Song dynasty underlined that examinee must keep registry and take the exam in his hative place. Besides, there is a series of rules of investigating, authenticating and determining the household register penetrating the whole imperial examination .As a key part of the imperial examination ,“The system of Imperial Examination related to Census Register” guaranteed the quality of the examination and maintained the selection procedure.
