Abstract: Mr Zhu Shaohou is a famous expert on the study of Qin and Han dynasties in China. He has made a lot of a- chievements in many fields, such as in the land system and rank relation, the system of granting noble by military merit, the study of Bamboo Slips and Wooden Tablets in Qin and Han dynasties, etc. Especially in the aspect on the system of granting noble title by military merit, he traced its development from begnining to the end, revealed its value in economy and politics, its effect and place in history.
