For example, urging farming is disturbing civilian actually,practising fraud when counting the amount of farming and sericulture and checking the officers’ achievements. The development of agriculture in the Yuan Dynasty also has a lot of ad- verse factors, such as lack of labour power and animal power, rough cultivation (extensive man- agement), delay of agricultural opportunity, inferior but expensive farm tools, etc. All of these affect the substantial results of the farming development.
