[关键词]汉代；海溢；海啸；自然环境

  [摘  要]汉代有关“海溢”的历史记录大致有7次。其中明确由海底地震等引发的严格意义上的“海啸”计4次。针对以为中国古代“海啸”多是风暴潮，而由海底地震或火山爆发等所激起的“海啸”在中国很少见的观点，指出这一事实是重要的。以东汉质帝本初元年(146)五月“海水溢”发生之后的救灾工作而言，朝廷的应急措施体现出相当高的行政效率。讨论汉代“海溢”灾害，可以补足以往灾害史研究的缺憾，也有益于更全面地理解两汉时期社会和自然环境的关系。 
   
The Sea-Overflow Disaster in Han Dynasty

Ahstraet: According to the historical record, about 7 sea-overflows occurred in Han Dynasty, among which 4 tsunamis in the strict sense were caused by the sea earthquake. It is important to point out the fact that most tsunamis were caused by windstorms rather than by sea earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in ancient China, which is a widespread view held by most Chinese scholars now. As to the disaster relief work after a sea-overflow in 146 A. D. , the imperial government’s e- mergency measures proved considerably high administrative efficiency. This paper makes up for the inadequacy in the study of the history of natural disasters before now and&nb
