一 导 言
幸福是每一个人追求的终极目标, 教育则是致达幸福生活的有效方法。如果说人类都是在不断寻求完美的不完美生物体, 那么教育就是能使他们变得完美的、意义最为重大的工具,幸福则是他们所能想象的最为理想的生活状态。
在这样的观点驱使下, 研究幸福与教育是一个有意义的课题。古往今来无数贤士和理论家探究过幸福, 其中一些还研究过教育与幸福的关系, 并为我们留下了一笔巨大的财富。例如, 在古代中国, 先贤孔子和孟子都把教育誉为提升个人修养和兼济天下的最有价值的方法。古希腊哲学家柏拉图和亚里士多德也都认为教育是创造幸福生活和理想社会的重要工具。在宗教方面, 佛教教育的主题就是通过超越七情六欲、克服自我外在形式来达到幸福(涅 ) ,而基督教徒们必须通过信仰上帝、尊崇耶稣的教诲来达到作为人类终极目标的幸福。
