第一个译文说:如果爱民治国,能够避免采取积极行动吗?把“无为”理解为不积极行动;还有一种译文是不采取行动,没用“积极”二字;第三个译文说:一个爱民的统治者[注: 统治者 tong zhi zhe 〖the ruler〗 所谓统治者,是一个独立主权国家的最高统治者,他统治的领域具备一个国家的性质,他在同时和后世均被广泛认可。]能不干预国事[注: 简介国事guóshì【national(or state)affairs】 国家重要的事务。尤指与政治有关的事 备注 国事至此,予不得爱身。]吗?把“无为”理解为“不干涉”,比前三种译文更加具体。但考虑到下文“明白四达,能无为乎?”重复“无为”不如用“无知”,所以还是第二个译文更好。
